Many of our pages/topics rank number one or in the top ten of popular search engines. Although most of our readers are located in the United States, we also have a large readership in Germany, the United Kingdom, and other European countries, as well as in other parts of the world.

NOTE: Please do NOT contact us about paid content (posts/articles) that is not directly related to the German-speaking countries (Austria, Germany, Switzerland)! We rarely accept paid content, and then only if it is informative, useful, and targeted to our audience.

Ad Plans

Text or Graphic Ads
We offer text or graphic ads that link directly to you! Our ad rates are very reasonable, and you can select the specific pages where your ad will appear. All ads must be suitable for our site and are approved before we accept them. We don’t clutter our pages with junk! That means your ad will stand out and reach the people you want to target.

We accept most types of graphic ads (gif, animated gif, jpeg, png, etc.) as long as your ad fits our size restrictions and appearance standards. (No Flash. No video.) If you prefer a text ad, it can be formatted as you wish within our guidelines.

For Google advertising on our pages, please contact Google AdWords directly.

German Way Ads

On request, we will be glad to send you our current ad rates. (See contact info below.)

Payment Options
We accept US or international payment via PayPal or directly through our US bank (dollar payments). All advertising rates are quoted in US dollars (USD). Any applicable PayPal fees must be paid by the advertiser or its agents.

Advertising Categories/Topics

The following ad categories/topics are welcomed: banking services, currency exchange, health and other types of insurance, employment integration services related to expats, moving/removal services, translation services, transportation (car rental, rail, other), tourist services, VPN services, products or services useful to travelers or residents in German-speaking Europe, and any other category we think will be of interest to our readers.

If you have special requirements, please ask. We try to be flexible, as long as your ad is appropriate for our site.

Advertising We Do Not Allow

We do not accept the following types of advertising:.

  • most outside content/articles written to promote certain linked keywords or products, or
  • casino or gambling ads, or
  • any other advertising that we consider unsuitable or unrelated to our readers (adult ads, etc.).

Embedded text terms or phrases in a paid article, with a link to an advertiser, are only accepted on a case-by-case basis, and must be directly related to expats or travelers in German-speaking Europe.
