Expat Interviews • The German Way
A collection of interviews with American and other expats living in German-speaking Europe. Learn about the ins and outs of living in Germany and other parts of Europe from people who are doing so or have done so. We have interviews with experienced people who know what it's like to work and live in Germany on a daily basis, and who want to help you avoid culture shock!
NOTE: Our last expat interview was conducted in 1999. As a result, some of the external links may no longer work and there may be obsolete information. However, most of the information is still relevant to expats today — especially the various coping skills and personal strategies mentioned. We hope to add some new interviews in the near future. Stay tuned!
