Jane Park.
German Way co-blogger Jane Park repatriated to the U.S. this summer (2010) after living in the small Swabian city, Aalen, for the last five years. She is a mostly stay-at-home mother to her two small daughters, whom she is raising trilingually (English, German and Korean). (Now that she and her family are living in San Diego, the family might start learning Spanish too!) She also works part-time as a fundraising consultant for a firm based in London and recently edited Across Frontiers: New International Perspectives on Educational Fundraising, a volume on international fundraising published by CASE in August 2010.
Like many German Way members, Jane’s interest in Germany began when she fell in love with a native German speaker, now her husband. Prior to moving to Germany, Jane lived in London where she studied and worked as a fundraiser in higher education. Jane is originally from the US where she spent time in most major East Coast cities but calls Harrisburg, Pennsylvania home.
Jane loves to travel (even with small children), write, cook, blog and improve her German. In addition to German Way, Jane also blogs here: janejpark.wordpress.com.
